Demonstration Pharmaceutical Straws
We have prepared samples of straws delivering some suitable pharmaceutical actives.
These samples are are simply to show the scope of things that can be delivered with a straw.
Some of the products we have manufactured to demonstrate the Straw Delivery System:
- Loperamide Hydrochloride Straw – delivering 2mg in a berry or pineapple flavoured straw or 4mg in a lemon flavoured straw.
- Ibuprofen Lysine Straw – delivering 200mg ibuprofen in a strawberry or watermelon flavoured straw.
- Sildenafil citrate Straw – delivering 50mg sildenafil in a lemon or watermelon flavoured straw.
- Cetirizine Straw – delivering 10mg cetirizine in a mango flavoured straw.
- Montelukast Straw – delivering 5mg montelukast sodium in a watermelon flavoured straw.
- Paracetamol Straw – delivering 200mg paracetamol in a strawberry flavoured straw.
- Tadalafil Straw – delivering 10mg Tadalafil in a mango or lemon flavoured straw.
Each of these sample applications was chosen because it is applicable to the target consumer where there is some benefit to having the medication delivered with water meaning no stomach burning, delivered intuitively by straw bypassing any dysphagia issues, eliminating overload potential associated with being able to take too many tablets or because they are often children’s medications.
